# mochi executable set-description

Set one executable's description

## Synopsis

Sets the description of the executable at REF (e.g. `build ws/ns:app`), or removes it when TEXT is empty. It is written into the flow file, leaving the rest of the file as it is. A discovered executable has no flow file, so Mochi keeps its description for it.

```shell
mochi executable set-description REF TEXT [flags]
```

## Options

| Flag | Type | Description |
|------|------|-------------|
| `-h, --help` |  | help for set-description |
| `-o, --output` | `string` | Output format: text or json (default "text") |

## Options inherited from parent commands

| Flag | Type | Description |
|------|------|-------------|
| `-L, --log-level` | `string` | Log verbosity level (debug, info, fatal) (default "info") |
| `--sync` |  | Sync flow cache and workspaces |
